In a defensive struggle this weekend, the Denver Broncos managed to secure a 13-11 win over the struggling New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter touchdown pass and kicker Wil Lutz kicked the game-winning go-ahead field goal to secure the hard-fought win.

Defensive Display Wins Game

Even with registering nine sacks versus Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 following giving up a two-point play in the third quarter. Remarkably, the Jets could only produce just 82 offensive yards throughout the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard drive that culminated in Lutz's short field goal with approximately five minutes left.

Despite their dismal performance, the Jets still had possession with a opportunity to drive for a possible victory. However Fields was sacked on fourth down from the Denver 44 when head coach Aaron Glenn opted to attempt the conversion instead of sending out specialist Nick Folk for a difficult kick.

Fields struggled all game, completing just 9 of 17 passes for 45 yards. The Jets ended up with minus-10 net yards passing, the lowest in any game since 1998.
