Defiant Postecoglou Insists 'Give Me Time' Amid Criticism

Ange Postecoglou is yet to secure none of his seven fixtures since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo last month

Pressured manager Ange Postecoglou presented a heartfelt explanation about his career and committed to secure trophies at Nottingham Forest provided with patience

Explaining His Results

"We finished fifth in my initial campaign" he noted

"Every time the star striker scored a goal I often thought he had remained one more year because it would have been beneficial to retain him after finishing fifth"

"But somehow that campaign has disappeared from historical accounts" he asserted

Moving Ahead

"So, we get to the present situation where there's another perspective to share, that perhaps I'm not an unsuccessful coach who was fortunate to obtain this role"

"but maybe I'm a manager who if provided patience, the narrative consistently concludes the same"

"At all my previous clubs, the result is consistent - through my leadership celebrating success"
